Account Deletion Policy

1. How to Request Account Deletion

You can request account deletion through the following methods:

In-app: Go to Settings → Account → Request Account Deletion
By email: Contact us at support@cowparadisegames.org

Once a deletion request is submitted, your account is marked for deletion with a 30-day waiting period. During this period, you will continue to have access to your account. If you log in during the waiting period, the deletion request will be automatically cancelled.

2. Data That Is Deleted

After the 30-day waiting period, the following data is permanently deleted:

Profile data: email, username, password hash
Game progress: scores, achievements, purchases, currencies, assets
Authentication: all game sessions and auth tokens are revoked

3. Data Retained

During the 30-day waiting period, your data is retained and you can still log in to your account. Logging in will automatically cancel the deletion request.

After the 30-day period, your account data is permanently deleted. If you re-register with the same email address, you will start as a new user with no previous data or progress.

4. Retention Period

30-day waiting period: Data is retained and accessible; logging in cancels the deletion request
After 30 days: Account is permanently deactivated and all data is deleted
Re-registration: You will start as a new user with no previous data or progress
Final purge: Archived data is permanently removed after the 30-day retention window
